YOU ARE INVITED to join us Jan 18th-19th 2025 for the “University of VARA”. The two day school will once again be held at Buttonwillow Raceway Park. The curriculum will include classroom sessions, skid pad, braking, and lots of track time. There will be levels of instruction from beginner to veteran with expert instruction from Vara's Master Instructors and “Fast Lane” crew and many of VARA’s top drivers.

Remember the University of VARA counts as two weekends toward your VARA competition racing license. This License is recognized by all major racing. There will be levels of instruction from beginner to veteran with expert instruction VARA'S Master Instructors many of VARA’s top drivers.This year we are introuducing a Gold Group this is only for Raceprep cars and those who either have started the Rookie Program or have a Full License and wish to get seat time.

This school is open to both street cars and race cars. Though the licensing program is only available to Race prepped cars, both will enjoy professional instruction with lots of track time and one on one in car instruction.

SIGN UP EARLY. The University can only accept a limited number of entries. In the past we’ve always ended up with a waiting list. The entry fee is only $625 which includes a weekend membership before Jan 7th price increases to $650.00 after Jan 8th 2025

We welcome you to join VARA for a membership fee of only $200 This entitles you to all VARA’s racing event information. A Physical exam is not required for the University. You can join VARA right on the University Entry Form.

Registration and Tech will be at the track Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. All cars must be teched including street cars.

Buttonwillow Racetrack is 90 miles from LAX Airport , Event Motel Motel 6 Central (661) 764-5121, Camping is permitted at the track. Hookup information please contact Buttonwillow Raceway Park at (661) 764-5333.
